- Rio Las Vegas now offers a $3 minimum for live craps.
- Daily cheap craps games are available from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Rio’s $3 craps tables are the cheapest anywhere near the Las Vegas strip.
LAS VEGAS – The Rio continues to provide cheap gambling options near the Las Vegas strip. They recently introduced $3 minimums for legal craps, making the Rio the cheapest place to play live craps in Las Vegas.
Rio’s $3 craps minimum is available from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, but expect tables to return to $10 or $15 minimums during later hours. Many other casinos have tried offering $3 craps tables in the past, but none have had long-term success.
Club Fortune Casino in Henderson used to have a craps happy hour from 4 pm – 5 pm with $3 craps before they closed down table games in 2022. A similar situation occurred with the Lucky Club in North Vegas, who stopped offering table games around the same time as Club Fortune but previously had $1 craps tables.
Before Rio’s reduced minimums, the $5 minimums currently found at locations like Jerry’s Nugget, Palms, and Oyo were the cheapest available. Now, Rio has the cheapest legal craps in Nevada, at least near the Las Vegas strip.
Rio Also Offers Other Budget-Friendly Casino Games In Vegas
The Rio has combatted rising table minimums and overall cost of gambling in Las Vegas with many improvements aside from $3 craps minimums. They also introduced $3 baccarat and have some of the highest video poker variant returns of any Las Vegas casino.
