George Kittle and Charles Barkley Talk Craps On Podcast

  • George Kittle claimed to be a craps guy who also enjoys playing slots on the latest episode of his podcast.
  • NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley advised Kittle not to play slots since they’re designed to lose.
  • Barkley later explains why he both likes and dislikes playing craps at the casino.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Everyone knows Charles Barkley loves to gamble, but it turns out he shares that interest with George Kittle. In the latest episode of Kittle’s podcast, Kittle Things, the San Francsico 49ers tight end said he loves to play craps when he goes to the casino.

I’m a craps guy. I thoroughly enjoy that, or I’m sitting on a slot machine because I absolutely love slot machines, for some reason.” Barkley had to show his casino expertise by advising against slots, saying that playing slots is a rookie mistake.

“Well first of all, you should never play the slots…I think casinos make about 65% of their money on slot machines, so never play the slot machines.”

Slots are absolutely the breadwinner at casinos, explaining why there are always exponentially more slot machines than craps tables on the floor. The two discussed gambling in Tahoe, where all the casinos are on the Nevada side, since only online gambling sites can offer craps in California.

Charles Barkley Explains Why He Doesn’t Like Playing Craps

Barkley utilized the Kittle Things platform to explain his love/hate relationship with craps, saying that he likes the game, but he doesn’t like playing with strangers. He said, “I like craps, but I dislike craps because there’s a random stranger on the other end of the table that I’ve never met in my life. Why should I bet on them?”

This is a big reason why many people play craps at Bovada or other online casinos with craps. There’s nothing more frustrating than losing money because of a random person, so this aspect of the dice rolling game can be avoided when having the table to yourself online.
